RESIDENCY

The year-long Nursing Residency allows first-year nurses to combine our core curriculum orientation with high level classroom and skills education to give you the confidence to make a difference at the bedside. We believe in mentoring our staff and aiding them in professional development to create our future leaders in excellent affordable healthcare in our Steward community hospitals. The curriculum is based on needs identified by the learners; this system-based education will be held monthly with hands on education and interdisciplinary presenters. The mission if the residency is to create relationships, foster safe, quality and patient centered care with support from content experts, peers and leadership. With this support our staff will have job satisfaction, professional development and longevity within our Hospital system.

Requirements:

• ACLS certification and strong customer service skills
• Current RN License
• Current BLS issued by American Red Cross or the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
